DIRTY is held at the infamous underground bar, Phoenix, the home of Sydney’s alternative underground club scene.
The first event was held in December 2006 and is now a part of the Sydney club subculture and held on the second Saturday of each month. While the door policy is open, DIRTY is an event for men and women with a very definite leather feel.
DIRTY is about providing an alternative to the mostly commercial sounds you'll hear along Sydney's Oxford Street, and aims to give you the very best underground DJs.
DIRTY’s sound ranges from deep sexy tech through to dirty tribal house. Basically, anything that is bass heavy, hypnotic, dark and bouncy with percussive hip grinding pulsating rhythms.

DIRTY, known to many underground clubbing fans as a monthly refuge of all things sexy and raw, has been keeping queer Sydney well versed with the very best underground beats and hip grinding pulsating rhythms.
The monthly gig has seen some serious talent on the decks over the past three years as well as an eclectic crowd of regular dirty-people.
